My portfolio states with my final Collection “Survival Of Artisans in modernization”. The inspiration is from the socio economic situation of the Rickshaw painter’s in Bangladesh. They bring color to the streets of Bangladesh but as populations rise and cities modernize, Bangladesh’s rickshaws, and the traditional art that adorns them, are at risk. As the cities modernize ,many new technologies have been introduced like screen print , digital print etc which are very cheap also. The customers are getting their work done through this cheap technologies. My motive is to imprint their current situation through my collection and give them a tribute for retensioning our tradition and upholding Bangladehi culture to the world.
